Ten-year-old Khalil Quarles was diagnosed with terminal soft tissue cancer in June 2011. As the cancer kept growing his family decided they’d stop his treatment so he could live a fulfilling life as comfortabley as he could. One of his goals was to become an Army soldier, and this past December, Khalil’s wish came true!

Watch as the 200th Military Police Command of Fort Meade meet with Khalil to make him an honorary member of the Army. Here’s to you Khalil and your fight against cancer, you’ve alwasy been a hero in our eyes!
