The U.S. Navy Just Put Out A Fantastic Video Of It’s Year In Photos

This video will give you a very clear sense of what our United States Navy does and accomplishes over the course of a single year. In this case the year depicted is 2020, an unprecedented year for the entire world, and the Navy was not immune from it, but neither was it sidelined because of it.

Watch the following video and see why.

We rarely get a sense of what our military is doing, and when we do see something on the news, it is never the whole picture. As you watch this video, you will become aware of the breadth and scope of the United States Navy’s abilities to serve the nation and the world in both war and peace. I think you will be impressed with the variety of things that went on over the course of this past year. I believe your pride in our Navy and those who serve in all of the ratings available in the modern Navy will only grow more clear.

The Navy served the nation over the course of this year of pandemic by sending hospital ships to both coasts to help in caring for the overflow of patients in New York CIty and Los Angeles. The U.S. Hospital Ship Mercy may indeed be called back into service soon in the LA area again due to the ballooning surge of cases there at this time.

Our Navy has cooperated with other countries in a variety of areas including war fighting training and in humanitarian services. The great variety of the Navy’s professions are included in this video too, from the best trained divers to the incredible capabilities of the Mobile Construction Battalions (Seabees), to submarines and aircraft carriers and every class of ship in between.
