Mom Gets The Best Christmas Gift From Her Sneaky Marine Son
Videos have the ability to make us emotional on many different levels. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve laughed at silly cat videos but then again, I cry at reunion videos. This one really got me going.
I think all of us can relate to the emotions that come out when we see people getting surprised in a most wonderful way. That is especially true around the holidays when we are looking forward to getting together with family and friends.

According to MilitaryKind, in this particular instance, a young man named Austin was away and his mother thought she would have to celebrate Christmas without him. Jessica Givens was thankful for what her son was doing well as a US Marine, but she knew that she would miss him.
Now that Christmas had rolled around, she wanted to be with him in the worst way but he had told her that he would be in quarantine. There was no way he was going to make it home for Christmas, but he was going to send some packages so that they could get their gifts.

As the mother sat around with family and friends, they were handing out those special gifts. She was then told to close her eyes and something was placed in her hand. She couldn’t quite figure out what it was.
When she opened her eyes, she saw that it was a jar that was full of Sour Patch watermelons. It also had a picture of her son on it.

This made her wonder because she had this special tradition that she did with her son when they went out. They would always stop to buy some Sour Patch watermelons.
That is when she got the real gift, and it is going to bring tears to your eyes.
