Man Surprises 100-Year-Old Veteran With A Last-Minute Trip To Disneyland

Going to Disneyland is a highlight vacation for many kids, families, and adults alike. It’s not known as the Happiest Place on Earth for no reason.

Sometimes, though, making a trip to Disneyland isn’t possible. It takes a good amount of money, planning, and resources to get there and enjoy a day in the park, and if you struggle with mobility, it can be nearly impossible to go alone.

A popular TikTok user named Isaiah Garza decided to gift a trip to Disneyland to an unsuspecting veteran and the result was heartwarming.

“I took a 100-year-old veteran to Disneyland & we became best friends,” he captioned the post.

Garza, who claims to be “once homeless & now changing lives,” regularly posts videos of himself impacting others in positive ways. In his recent clip, he can be seen approaching an elderly gentleman, who’s using a walker, on a trail.

“I’m sorry to bother you, but I’ve had a really, really rough day and I just wanted to see if you’d be willing to go to Disneyland with me today,” Garza says.

“Hey, that’s great,” the man says. “You really want to take me? My gosh, I can’t believe this,” he adds. The two proceed to the park and spend the day going on rides, eating Disney snacks, and having a grand time!

Apparently, the 100-year-old man hadn’t been on a ride in over 50 years and he didn’t think he’d get the chance to go on rides again.

“This is one of the best days of my life. I feel like I might be dreaming or something. I thought my life was over. I’ll remember this day for a long time,” the man says.
