I’m So Glad That A Speech Like This Was Captured On Film — Events Like Pearl Harbor Need to Be Remembered

As President Franklin Delano Roosevelt stated in this very speech, given on December 8th, 1941: “Yesterday, December 7th, 1941, a date which will live in infamy, The United States of America was suddenly and deliberately attacked by naval and air forces of the Empire of Japan.”

The events at Pearl Harbor were, in a word, tragic. And it was this man, giving this speech, that helped our nation regroup and unite. It too should be remembered.
