A Surprise Backyard Transformation Has This Veteran Family Smiling Wide

For veterans, post-traumatic stress disorder is no less debilitating than any physical disability. It takes time for vets to be able to relate to people again. Home Depot is helping veterans by working with volunteers to help them rebuild their lives and their homes, giving them a renewed sense of community.

Kyle, an Army veteran in Phoenix, Arizona, just wanted grass so he could play in the backyard with his daughter. So the Home Depot team did a complete transformation and gave him a new yard.

Presents like this are exactly what hard working military veterans deserve when they come back home and try to figure out their place in world where they are no longer required to go on dangerous daily missions.

What else is a backyard good for? A homecoming surprise! Check out this video of a returning soldier surprising his family.
