Do you get frustrated when people say “ex cetera” when they should be saying “et cetera,” or “mis-pro-nounce-i-a-tion” rather than “mis-pro-nunce-i-a-tion?” How about the the travesty of saying “supposably” instead of saying “supposedly?”
Well don’t get too worked up, because there might be words you’re saying incorrectly, too!
For example, do you know the correct pronunciation of “gif”? What about “Edinburgh”? “Hyperbole”? “Arctic”? Is it “anyway” or “anyways”? Time to check in and make sure you haven’t been saying them wrong all this time.
