Chris Kyle and Chad Littlefield, like so many of our American heroes, were taken from us way too early.
Chris Kyle was a United States Navy SEAL veteran and sniper who served four tours in the Iraq War. Chris Kyle was awarded several commendations for acts of heroism and meritorious service in combat. He was awarded one Silver Star Medal, four Bronze Star Medals, a Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal and numerous other unit and personal awards. Kyle was honorably discharged from the U.S. Navy in 2009 and published his bestselling autobiography, “American Sniper”, in 2012.
Chad Littlefield, according to a Time Magazine article, was a lifelong resident of Texas. He was born in Dallas on Feb. 11, 1977, and graduated from DeSoto High School in the Dallas suburb of DeSoto in 1995. He had a strong belief in his Christianity and the teachings of Jesus. He worked at DeSoto’s Eagle Labs, Inc., an oil-services firm, as the facilities and logistics manager.
While the two posts (here, and here) we’ve previously done on Chris Kyle were interviews, the video you’re about to see is a beautiful tribute to two men that did all that they could to make sure that our country was safe.
Rest in peace. You will be missed.Whizzco
