“Work hard, play hard,” is an often observed philosophy in the military, where long hours and hard work are normal routine, followed with much appreciated down time. That down time is especially appreciated by troops who are deployed overseas in combat zones. For those troops, the ability to blow off a little steam and have some fun is extremely important when dealing with life-and-death situations for months at a time.
Taking some time out to let off a little steam and show us some of their talented dancing skills, the U.S. Army Infantry Soldiers in Kunar Province, Afghanistan, give us their rendition of the pop song “Call Me Maybe” by Carly Rae Jepsen. It’s a hilarious music video that is sure to have you laughing and tapping your foot at the same time! Plus, it’s always great to see soldiers enjoying themselves!
Watch this entertaining video below as the troops morale is boosted in creating this hilarious number for friends and family back home, and thank the troops for doing what they do.
