8-year-old Adam Perkins Jr. was born on September 10th and named after his father. Adam Perkins Sr. is an Army veteran who was disabled serving in Operation Iraqi Freedom, which inspired in his son something wonderful. This year, for Adam Jr.’s birthday, he asked his friends for something instead of presents: donations to Disabled American Veterans (DAV), a charity that helps vets like his father. Adam Jr. posted this request to Facebook, handed out flyers, and ended up raising over $700 for DAV.

You have to see him hand his envelope of donations to the DAV. It’s beyond adorable.
